Meet Olly - Head Chef & Founder
Oliver holds a Level 5 Culinary Arts Degree and Trained at the five-star Grantley Hall, worked at Shaun Rankin's Michelin-Starred restaurant, headed to London for a stage at Core by Clare Smyth and joining the opening team that launched Chotto Matte in Manchester.

Where it all began...
I was 6 years old when my dad first put me to work beside him, and I've been learning from him ever since. He trained as a chef in the RAF, has cooked for royal visits, and carries a level of discipline and pride in his food. He never let standards slip, never cut corners, and made sure I understood from an early age that cooking isn't only about technique - It's about respect. For the ingredients, for the people you're feeding, and for the craft itself. Everything I value about food, I trace back to him.
Field & Flame is my way of carrying those values forward. Every menu we create, every event we cater, and every guest we serve is guided by the same respect for great ingredients, genuine hospitality, and doing things properly. I'm incredibly proud of what we're building, and I can't wait to share it with you.
